The festivities started on the Friday evening with a delicious and sumptuous candlelight dinner in a beautiful Napoleon III-style salon at the Hôtel InterContinental Paris Le Grand.

The next day, after a meeting for members of the National Bureau in one of the splendid salons of the Hôtel Meurice, a convivial lunch was served in the Restaurant Louvre Bouteille.

The Chaîne being primarily a story of personal relationships, Marie Sauce opened her impressive address book to invite her friends to become part of the Confrérie. Accordingly, on Saturday afternoon at the Hôtel Meurice, President Yam Atallah inducted a large number of personalities from the world of gastronomy, including:

Guillaume Gomez, President of the Association des Cuisiniers de la République
Gilles Moineau, President of the Union Compagnonnique
Christophe Langrée, Chef of the Hôtel Matignon (the Prime Minister’s official residence)
Xavier Dupuy, Chairman of La Cornue
Christophe Raoux, Executive Chef of the Hôtel InterContinental Paris Le Grand
Jacques Henrio, Meilleur Ouvrier de France : Charcuterie-Traiteur
Frédéric Jaunault, Meilleur Ouvrier de France : Fruitier-Primeur, a World Champion in the art of fruit and vegetable sculpture
Xavier Mathieu, Chef/Owner of the Michelin-starred Hostellerie le Phébus
Mireille d’Ardhuy Santiard, owner of Domaine d’Ardhuy
Cyril Rouquet, Chef/Owner of the Restaurant Louvre Bouteille

In the evening, after a much-appreciated cocktail reception, an exceptional Gala Dinner conceived by the great Chef Alain Ducasse was served in the Salon Pompadour of the Hotel Meurice. This ceremonial salon, which pays tribute to the Music Room of the Palace of Versailles, was specially opened for the members of the Chaîne and their guests, thus offering them a truly “royal symphony”.

To close the splendid weekend, on the Sunday a lunch was held in the famous restaurant “Chef Fernand”, where everyone shared a wonderful last moment of pleasure.
