Greece Dinner

Professional members take centre stage

The Bailliage held a fine dinner at the Michelin 2-star restaurant “Funky Gourmet” in Athens, the owners and chefs of which, Nikos Roussos and Georgianna Chiliadaki, are Professional members.

Their second Michelin star was awarded just before our event, so the dinner was a real celebration! We are proud for them and hope their third Michelin star arrives next year!




Funky Gourmet specialises in molecular cuisine, the ultimate fantasy where science meets cooking. It is not only the taste, but the textures and presentation which make each dish a voyage of discovery.

An excellent, highly creative, gastronomic menu was served to the attendees. The 11 courses were accompanied by complementary wines, principally from Greece but also Alsace. One of the dishes was even served with fresh beer, brewed at a micro-brewery on the island of Chios.




The whole event was an innovation receiving exceptionally enthusiastic comments from all the members. Everyone had a wonderful time together especially from being able to dine in great style around one long table.
