The theme for this year’s Chapitre, held at the InterContinental Muscat, was ‘Great Gatsby Goes Creole’.

Following the Induction Ceremony, which was very ably presided over by Günter Albert, Member of the Conseil d’Administration from Monaco, the doors of the ballroom were opened to a fairy-tale setting for what turned out to be a most memorable dinner.

The room had been transformed into a white wonderland reminiscent of the 1930’s! To add to the ambience, a jazz singer harmonized throughout the evening whilst the splendid dishes prepared by Executive Chef Pascal Etienne and his team were served.

After being transported to this fairy-tale land of 1930’s Cajun there was a unanimous vote of thanks for the entire staff of the InterContinental Muscat who had helped to make this amazing evening come true. It will be remembered for a very long time indeed!
