Bailliage of Mombasa

Members and their guests experienced an exceptional evening at Severin Sea Lodge for the Bailliage’s Annual Wine & Cheese tasting and Dinner.

General Manager Andy Muir, Vice-Chargé de Missions, went out of his way to source a wide selection of cheese which was generously accompanied by an equally comprehensive choice of wines.


 
Acclaimed cheese and bakery connoisseur, Hans Wittwer, perfectly paired the cheese with amazing assortment of fresh fruit (which had been brought in specially on the day from Nairobi), together with nuts and bread.

The dinner comprised oysters, lobster, prawns, a variety of meats and salads followed by some fascinating desserts.



The Severin Sea Lodge has been designed in a traditional African style with attention to detail: The round bungalows, the main building and the two swimming pools are harmoniously located within a vast grove of palms. The rooms and suites are designed in a classic natural style furnished with handmade wooden furniture.



Culinary highlights together with friendly and cordial service personify the hotel. On the occasion of our event, Food and Beverage Manager Joseph Ndunda did a splendid job in coordinating the evening ensuring that it was a great success.
