Bailliage of Gold Coast - Gold Coast, December 3, 2011

The Bailliage of Gold Coast celebrated Christmas 2011 at Horizons, Sheraton Mirage Resort & Spa, with a ‘Winter Wonderland’ theme.

Horizons is a unique reception venue on the Gold Coast with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the resort lagoons and spectacular Pacific Ocean. The room was brilliantly decorated with numerous fairy lights, blue mood lighting and crisp, white decoration to represent snow.

 

Freshly-shucked oysters and delicious canapés were served with Moët et Chandon Champagne whilst the young Opus choir sang Christmas carols as guests entered the winter fairyland.

Bailli Ernst Pfister introduced new members and Santa Claus gave everyone a gift of delicious stollen.

Chef Nathaneal Hardie and the kitchen brigade did an outstanding job with the food. Peter Elakis, Food and Beverage Manager, ensured that the service was second to none and the attention to detail was truly wonderful.
