Korea Dinner

Seoul, April 13, 2012

Our latest dinner was themed “Spring-time at the Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel”.

This was the first Chaîne event that the award-winning hotel, under the leadership of owner Young Tae Kim and General Manager David Cutten, had hosted and it was a great success!

Executive Chef Gunnar created new dishes exclusively for the dinner using fresh Korean ingredients. Each course focused on originality of taste and a presentation in a modern art/fashion style.

Everything was prepared and served to perfection. It was simply outstanding!

To give our palates a perfect taste of Spring, Sommelier Glenn Park selected Champagne Drappier ‘Cuvée Charles de Gaulle’ 2006, followed by two Californian wines: Walter Hansel Carneros Chardonnay 2009 and Philip Togni ‘Tanbark Hill’ Cabernet-Sauvignon 2008.

Bailli Délégué Bernhard Brender, Member of the Conseil Magistral, summed up the evening by saying “when high quality food and beverage are served to perfection and are embraced by the Chaîne camaraderie and friendship then heaven is near.”
