Lebanon Grand Chapitre

During a spectacular Gala Dinner on 7th July at the Restaurant S.T.A.Y. in Beirut, an Induction Ceremony for new members was held in the presence of a number of prestigious guests from the Bailliages of Kuwait, Jordan, Dubai and Switzerland and many friends and fans of the Chaîne in Lebanon.

President Yam Atallah had appointed Benoît Fragnière, member of the Conseil d’Administration from Switzerland, to preside over the ceremony and to induct 20 new members, including two Chevaliers d’Honneur: Her Excellency the Greek Ambassador to Lebanon and His Excellency the Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon.

The ceremony was accompanied by three days of festivities, punctuated with a dinner in Zaitunay Bay at Karam Al Bahr, another at Mounir in Broumana and a third, the cherry on the cake, at the Restaurant S.T.A.Y. Delicately conceived and prepared by the great French chef Yannick Alléno who has been awarded a third Michelin star, the meal was modern, mouth-watering, sophisticated and fully worthy of the occasion. The evening was an extraordinary sensory adventure, with a fine, imaginative cuisine that didn’t fail to promote the best that French gastronomy has to offer.
