Held in the Grand Ballroom of the Millennium Seoul Hilton with the theme: “Art moderne gastronomique”, our 2011 Chapitre was indeed a quality night for us to remember!

Quite near city’s business district, the 681-room Millennium Seoul Hilton hotel has seven restaurants and bars, a health club and golf driving range. The hotel stands spectacularly facing Mt. Namsan's breathtaking views throughout the four seasons.

After the Induction Ceremony, presided over by our own Member of the Conseil Magistral, Bernhard Brender, Bailli Délégué, Chef Park’s creations based on art’s classic historical painters was an act of class in our modern business world.

The delightful menu comprised:

Lobster Carpaccio

Sea Urchin Custard

Spinach and Pine Nut Timballo

Sweet Basil Granité

Roast Duck Breast

Truffled Cheese with Apple and Celeriac Salad

Chocolate Basket with Almond and Fondant Mousse

To complement the creations on the plate, Sommelier Seo Won Sun played his role to perfection ensuring our glasses were filled with wines best matching each course. He tempted us with La Grande Année 2002 from Bollinger, Sancerre 2010 by the renowned Henry Bourgeois, a 2007 Chablis 1er Cru, a 2003 Châteauneuf du Pape, a 2006 Hermitage and with the dessert, a 2005 Chateau Dereszla Tokaji Aszú 5 Puttonyos from Hungary.

                       

                       
 
                              

This Chapitre will remain in our memories for a long time to come given that it perfectly achieved the core value in Korea and in Bailliages around the world of promoting friendship and camaraderie around the classic pleasure of the regal table.
