Casual oysters, lobster and Champagne event

Members and friends of the Chaîne in Taiwan gathered at the Taipei Sherwood Hotel which proudly displays the Professionals plaque at its main entrance.



The 5-star Sherwood is the only Taiwanese member of the Leading Hotels of the World. The hotel presents a beautiful environment combining the best of the East and West in terms of interior design, art collection, furnishings, services and dining, as the meaning of its Chinese name – Xihua – suggests.



We gathered for what was to be a fun evening featuring oysters, lobster and Champagne.

The participants enjoyed a free-flowing supply of fresh Tasmanian oysters and half a Boston lobster. However, for those few members not entirely devoted to seafood the chefs had prepared an array of cold meat cuts and cheese.



Lanson Champagne and well-chosen white wine accompanied the delicacies.

It was a most agreeable event. The Bailliage members and their guests enjoyed food, wine and friendship till late in the evening in the true spirit of the Chaîne!
