Dubai Dinner

Exquisitely prepared traditional local dishes with a Mediterranean flair, the K Grill at the Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates has a strong local reputation for its regional favourites with a European twist. The subtle, smoky aromas and juicy cuts bursting with flavour at this specialty grill restaurant keep one coming back for more.

Thus it was for the Bailliage’s black-tie dinner on September 23rd. Konstantin Zeuke, General Manager of the Kempinski Mall of the Emirates was there to personally greet everyone.



It was a pleasure to welcome Christian Grage, Member Honoraire of the Conseil Magistral, Bailli Délégué Honoraire of the Czech Republic, who had recently moved to the Dubai area office of Hilton Worldwide following his promotion to be the company’s Vice-President - Operations for the Arabian Peninsula. He was formerly Vice-President - Operations for Hilton Worldwide’s Egypt and Levant region.



The dinner was a resounding success and prompted the following words of appreciation from Chancelier Eleanor Brodie to the Kempinski team:

“What a wonderful evening. Many thanks for putting on such a splendid spectacle. There were so many visual treats to excite the appetite – a chocolate counter at the entrance, table centrepieces of fruit juices, as well as the caramelized sugar “tray” for presenting the desserts.

The food and wines were quite excellent. Congratulations to the Kitchen and Service brigades for making our event a memorable one.”



Certificates of Appreciation were presented to the management (Konstantin Zeuke, General Manager; Mazen al Dgle, Sales Manager; Sudqi Naddaf, Executive Chef; Barbara Fernandez, Food & Beverage Manager; Ashraf Saleh, (Restaurant Manager) as well as to all members of the two Brigades.
