Abu Dhabi Dinner

The Bailliage celebrated its 20th consecutive annual event at Trader Vic’s at the Beach Rotana Hotel.

Trader Vic’s is a tropical restaurant and bar which specialises in French-Polynesian cuisine in an exotic environment. In the world-renowned ‘Mai Tai Bar’ can be had some of the most innovative and delicious refreshments found in Abu Dhabi. A resident Cuban band plays Latin American rhythms adding to the fun atmosphere.

It is no wonder then that this annual event has always been enormously popular with the members. Especially as on every occasion Chef Jimmy Sek has created a great menu for the event … and 2013 was no exception.

Given the anniversary, the occasion warranted a special award which was presented to Jimmy by Bailli Délégué Jeremy Weeks, Member of the Conseil Magistral and Ian Fairservice, Member of the Conseil d’Administration, Bailli Délégué of Dubai, who was a most welcome VIP visitor. The event also included a birthday celebration for Ian’s wife, Janice, a Grand Officier.
