Hungary Dinner

We organized a special dîner amical at the Restaurant Biarritz, a venue popular with politicians as the Hungarian Parliament building and offices stand on either side of this Southern French-themed bistro.

Gyula Berkes, owner of the 15-year-old restaurant and his team had carefully composed an eight-course menu with a good selection of wines to give excellent quality and value for the members and invited guests.



Highlights of the menu were:
- Smoked sturgeon carpaccio with beetroot salad with apple
- Roasted foie gras with saffron risotto and mango sabayon
- Ox cheek confit
- Homemade chocolate cake

To improve the knowledge of the participants about whiskies, three well-known brands from different countries of origin were introduced by professionals with great success and of course the tasting was a perfect climax to the evening.
