Uganda Dinner

Kampala, March 10, 2012

Members and guests gathered at the Serena Hotel for a gala evening replete with an excellent cuisine, a variety of wines perfectly matched to the courses served as well as of course entertaining and sophisticated conversation.

The evening got under way with champagne on the upstairs terrace before everyone was signalled to find their appointed seats in order that the celebratory dinner could start.

The first course was a “Deli Orchestra of Smoked Fish” which consisted of three separate delicious mounds of eel with beets remoulade, trout mousse and salmon apple caviar roulade with a Balsamic reduction and served with Caliterra Reserva Sauvignon Blanc 2011.

After sampling several interim courses the main course was a scrumptious Filet Mignon Rossini served with an amazing Rioja Marques de Caceres Gran Reserva 1994.



The kitchen and service brigades really outdid themselves to provide everyone with a complete and utterly exquisite and elegant overall dining experience. Last but not least, thanks to all members and guests who attended … your support of our events is always very much appreciated.
