Bailliage of Kanto - Tokyo, February 16, 2012

This Chapitre of the Bailliage of Kanto, of which Yukio Hattoti is Bailli, was held at the five-star Conrad Tokyo.

The Conrad Tokyo is a luxury hotel located 28 floors above Tokyo Shiodome.

The 37-storey hotel offers panoramic views over the extensive Hamarikyu Garden, a former royal residence, and the Tokyo Bay skyline.

General manager Grégor Andreewitch, Officier Maître Hôtelier, personally welcomed us warmly to his splendid hotel.


During the Induction Ceremony, our Bailli Délégué, Saihei Makanami, in his capacity as a Member of the Conseil d’Administration, inducted ten new members and promoted twelve members to a higher grade.




For the celebratory Gala Dinner that followed the ceremony, Executive Chef Jose Sanchez Officier Maître Rôtisseur, and his brigade prepared unconventional and creative courses. The 120 members and guests thus had the opportunity to discover new tastes.




Included in the courses were original dishes such as: Truffled pig’s trotter fritter with ravigote sauce; Cream of Jerusalem artichoke soup with flakes of chorizo iberico.

During service there was a live kitchen performance as on a big screen we could see the chefs cooking! It was a dinner full of a sense of reality. Six carefully-selected wines were served to partner the courses.
