Korea Dinner

A culinary “love affair extraordinaire”!  What a sensational night at the Sheraton Incehon for everyone to experience as all the senses were activated by “high voltage”.

A starry night began on entering the Grand Ballroom where glittering white candles decorating the elegant tables paved the way to our designated seats.

Watching the miraculous sand artist Hyejin Yoon drawing her fingers through the sand to create exceptional images brought a tear to the eye.

The aura continued with Miss Park‘s soft voice reading the menu whilst on the big screen a film showed fresh milk turning into cheese to the sound of melodic music.
 
The culinary journey prepared by Executive Chef Sven Neuert and his brigade took us through:
 
- Diver scallop with Sevruga caviar
- Essence of forest mushroom and ginseng
- Grain mustard and herb-crusted halibut
- Pomegranate, rosewater and thyme sorbet
- Braised short ribs and seared Hoengseong hanu* fillet
- Camembert parfait
- Dark chocolate marquise with black pepper ice cream

 
All courses were perfectly matched and served with top class wines.

* Every year, the Hanu (Korean native cattle) Festival takes places in Hoengseong County, where the climate and the environment are said to be perfect for raising cattle.
