Four in a row at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre

The Bailliage of Malaysia held its 33rd Annual General Meeting at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

After the meeting there was a Gala Dinner, the courses of which were paired with excellent wines especially selected by Executive Chef Richmond Lim, Officier Maître Rôtisseur, in collaboration with General Manager Datuk Peter Brokenshire, Maître Restaurateur.

Members gave a toast to the Chaîne at the start of the dinner and Deputy General Manager Alan Pryor thanked the Bailliage for making the Centre the venue of choice for its annual dinner for the fourth consecutive year.

Chef Lim offered an insight into his approach to the evening’s culinary presentation. The ‘White and Bronze ‘ themed menu saw some 80 members and

guests savouring mouth-watering dishes such as wild Tasmanian salmon tartare with shaved summer truffle, Scottish queen scallop drizzled with urchin roe hollandaise, Australian lamb with wild mushroom risotto and ratatouille and white chocolate cheese mousse with champagne grapes and raspberry Jello.

It was a night to remember. Members and their guests enjoyed wonderful food and wine, impeccably prepared and presented by the kitchen and service brigades.

Warm appreciation was shown by the presentation of a Certificate of Appreciation to the managers and staff for their enthusiastic involvement and attentive contribution to the success of the event.
