Portugal Lunch

Fins Club Quinta Magnolia is a peaceful paradise with three historic, typically Portuguese, luxury cottages and a large pool area. From there one can enjoy stunning views overlooking the picturesque village of Malveira da Serra and the famous beach of Praia do Guincho, as well as Cascais and Estoril.

Created by Steven Snow, Australia’s renowned seafood chef, Quinta Magnólia discovered the FINS concept and brought it to Portugal. The restaurant’s formula combines the best local seafood with organic vegetables and herbs the establishment’s own garden.



Our Bailliage of Greater Lisbon lunch was a really interesting experience. We enjoyed an excellent lunch with the presentation of three new dishes from the restaurant’s new season’s menu.



- Amuse-bouche: Crispy cuttlefish on daikon pickle with green tea salt

- Starter: ‘The Chef surprises …’

- Fish course 1: Tian of tuna sashimi with tobiko caviar, white miso, shiso cress and fish chips

- Fish course 2: Seared scallops, buttered leeks, local prosciutto, celeriac puree, smoked tomato and Port wine



- Main course: Beef fillet with wasabi mashed potatoes, tempura enoki mushroom and miso butter

- Dessert: Rhubarb bavarois with coconut and lemon grass foam, cardamom ice cream


- Wines: 'Et Cetera Evora' White 2011 and 'Et Cetera Evora' Red 2010
