‘Glitz & Glam' at the W Seoul Walkerhill

The concept of the evening was to go back in time and recreate the ‘Hits of the 70s’ in food, music and fashion.

Where better than to stage the event at the luxurious and chic W Seoul Walkerhill, the first-ever W Hotel in Asia managed by Starwood & Resort Worldwide. The hotel is located at the foot of Mount Achasan overlooking the beautiful Hangang River, one of the most popular spots for both tourists and locals alike.

The banqueting room was transformed into a 70s disco with disco balls, purple and silver lights and a DJ playing disco hits.



The menu was printed on a vinyl record in a glitzy silver sleeve with the table decoration comprising various sizes of glitter balls on a sequined runner. It featured classic dishes for the era but styled and presented in a contemporary way using the best ingredients available:

Guests were escorted into the venue by staff members in specially-made uniforms representing the fashion and make-up of the period. The evening ended with the presentation of both the kitchen and service brigades to the assembled guests and board members.
