Bailliage of Lower Austria

On the first day of June, a Saturday, members and their friends from the Bailliages of Lower Austria, Upper Austria, Salzburg and Vienna, came to Lake Ottenstein. There Maître Restaurateur Joseph Riegler and Margit Macher welcomed us to lunch with a lovely glass of ‘Riesling Haus Österreich’.



After a delightful boat trip on the lake, we went to Ottenstein Castle where the service brigade awaited us in the sumptuous ‘Chevaliers Hall’.



Maître Restaurateur Joseph Riegler and Alexander Scharinger, Bailli of Lower Austria, formally greeted the food lovers to the event. To the great delight of all present, Conseiller Gastronomique Wolfgang Kovacsics welcomed Günter Albert, a member of the International Conseil d’Administration, to the event.

The food was prepared and served by a committed and skilled team. The flawless service, stunning glassware and regional ingredients are all excellent reasons for coming back next year.



In recognition for all their hard work, Vice-Chargé de Missions Peter Lamm and Bailli Alexander Scharinger awarded the Bailliage of Lower Austria’s certificate of appreciation to Maître Restaurateur Joseph Riegler and his team.
