Kuwait Dinner

Bailliage of Kuwait
Kuwait City, May 5, 2018

The perfect farewell before our summer break
" The Sheraton Hotel Luxury Collection catered a superb menu "

Before the holidays the Bailliage ended its 2017-18 culinary season with a Gala Dinner at the residence of His Excellency Giuseppe Scognamiglio, the Ambassador of Italy to the State of Kuwait.

The Italian embassy is one of 108 foreign representations in Kuwait and one of 645 Italian diplomatic and consular representations worldwide.

After completing his classical education, including being awarded a diploma in piano, in 1992 Giuseppe Scognamiglio graduated in economics from Bocconi University. In the same year he obtained a Master CEMS (Community of European Business Schools) which eventually led to him embarking on his diplomatic career in July 1995.

Following several administrative and advisory appointments, from February 2011 he was Consul General for Italy in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In October 2015 he was appointed Ambassador of Italy to Kuwait.

The Sheraton Hotel Luxury Collection catered a superb menu, inspired by the theme of a “summer in Italy”.

The beautifully-presented summertime garden salad first course paved the way for the famous and absolutely delicious tortelli. The Sheraton Chefs take on tiramisu was much enjoyed.

It was an elegant and very classy dinner accompanied by live music. The supreme fresh colours and tastes of the season, mirrored in the selections, presentation, cuisine and even the floral centrepieces were a lovely way to say farewell before our summer break.
