National Final held at Dusit Thani College Excellence Center
" Manila Ragsaboon from Brasserie 9 will represent Thailand in the International Final "

Thailand has been long known for its culinary culture. It has become a leading destination for gastronomy, not only Thai food but also a wide variety of international cuisines.

The National Bailliage takes this opportunity to promote young, talented Thai chefs to come and compete with their talents and skills by preparing fine dishes. This enhances their exposure and gives them the opportunity to travel to other countries and compete on an international level with leading young chefs. At the same time they will take a flavour of Thailand and the art of Thai cuisine to the world.

Our 2018 National Final of the Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs Competition event was sponsored and held at the Dusit Thani College Excellence Center (DTEC), a pioneer and leading culinary college in Thailand which prepares talented chefs and sommeliers through its extensive hospitality programme.

Seven participants worked very hard presenting their culinary expertise which presented a challenge for the jury to choose the winner. Nevertheless a winner was chosen therefore we are delighted to announce that Manila Ragsaboon from Brasserie 9 will represent Thailand in the International Final in Taiwan in September.

We would like to extend our special appreciation and thanks to all the participants as well as our sponsors:
- Dusit Thani College Excellence Center
- Travel Center Asia
- Lavazza Coffee
- Bangkok Air Catering
- Brasserie 9 Restauran
- Al Saray Restaurant
- Blue Ocean Resort Phuket
- Mr. Linus A.E. Knobel

Their generous support made certain that this competition was a great success. Our special thanks also go to Chef Alessandro Haab, Conseiller Culinare, and to the entire Dusit College team who worked hard for the perfect realization of the event.
