Dear members of the Chaîne

The Bailliage is honoured to invite you to participate in its forthcoming Chapitre in medieval Malbork (Marienburg), the Castle of the Teutonic Order of Knights. It is the largest castle in the world measured by land area and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The induction of new members will take place on April 6th in the Summer Refectory where official banquets of the Grand Masters used to be held. The ceremony will be followed by an exceptional dinner, served in the medieval Seven Pillars Hall and prepared by two exquisite Chefs - Bogdan Galazka, master of historic cuisine according to Gault & Millau Poland, and Agata Wojda, first lady of Polish fine cooking.

A guided tour of the UNESCO Heritage listed monument will be organized the next day - Sunday, April 7th.

Furthermore, Malbork is not far from Gdansk - the famous Hanseatic port and historic city with its exceptional Renaissance-era Old Town … definitely worth a visit!
