Dearest fellow members of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs

From May 9-12 we will celebrate our Grand Chapitre in the beautiful area that is the Abruzzo. It is here that we will be surrounded by the vineyards of Montepulciano which Ovid referred to as “the rivers of nectar that flowed into the happy age of mankind” - a happy age that we will have the good fortune to relive together in four extraordinary days!

Renowned for its variety and richness, Abruzzo’s cuisine is among the best in Italy – some would even go as far as to say it is the best!

The “mission” of this 51st Grand Chapitre of Italy will be to introduce this cuisine to members and their guests coming from not only Italy but from all over the world.

The success of this mission will be in no small part due to the endeavours and generous hospitality of Marco Forcella, Bailli of Abruzzo Adriatico, together with his officers and the members in the local Bailliage.
