Cirque du Soleil Joyá meets the Chaîne
" Many new friendships were established during the evening "

For two wonderful days, members and international guests attended our Chapitre hosted by local Bailli Attila Gombos and his Council at the beautiful Grand Velas Hotel located in Playa del Carmen, the main tourist destination in Mexico. The Chaîne spirit was complemented by sand, beaches and good friends from different parts of the country and the USA.

The programme started with dinner and champagne at the Cirque du Soleil Joyá, the only resident show located in Latin America. The tropical, luxurious complex received a delegation of 30. We had an original dinner combining local ingredients in a unique presentation, consistent with the setting and theme of the show.

The next day, attendees enjoyed sun and sand. At dusk, our special guest, Inducting Officer Harold “Hal” Small, Member of the Conseil d’Administration from the USA, supported by our Bailli Delegué Thierry Blouet and the National Council members, inducted the new Chargé de Presse for Mexico as well as 15 new members from five local Bailliages.

The celebratory reception was followed by a Gala Dinner at Piaf Restaurant located in the Grand Velas Hotel where 80 members and guests celebrated in true Chaîne fashion.
