Annual summer luncheon at Trader Vic's
" the kitchen and service brigades were received with well-deserved applause "
The Bailliage of the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi held its 27th Trader Vic’s annual summer luncheon at the Beach Rotana Hotel.
Chef Jimmy Sek yet again prepared some innovative, delicious dishes that expertly paired with our chosen wines.
Before service began we held a short Induction Ceremony where three members were promoted. Chancelier Eleanor Brodie was the Inducting Officer. She was assisted by Chargé de Missions Rinaldo Boscaro and Échanson Sandeep Sathees.
Members and guests were welcomed with Mumm ‘Cordon Rouge’ Brut Rosé Champagne, strawberry gin cocktails and Gaffel Koelsch beers together with a wonderful selection of Polynesian-style canapés.
