on-line programme
to the value of AUS$5,300

The ‘Hautes Études du Goût’ programme, unique to Le Cordon Bleu, is designed to uncover the science of taste. Spending one week in Paris and one week in Reims, Champagne, course participants will look beyond simple flavours and textures, furthering their knowledge through advanced lectures and workshops by renowned French academics, the likes of renowned scientist and forefather of molecular gastronomy Herve This, as well as numerous experiential food and wine masterclasses. The gastronomic programme also involves bespoke excursions to food markets and Champagne houses to experience food and wine from its very beginnings to finished product.

The ‘Le Cordon Bleu Master of Gastronomic Tourism’ programme aims to give students a greater understanding of the marriage between ‘gastronomy’ and ‘tourism’ and the important role that food and gastronomy play in creating a sustainable and high quality tourism experience. Covering a range of fascinating and contemporary areas of study, this online programme appeals to those wanting to formalise their passion for gastronomy and tourism as well as those seeking related careers in hospitality, writing or media.

Le Cordon Bleu has always recognised the symbiotic relationship between food and wine, and it is with great pride that they partner the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs for this exciting competition.
