A lunch held at the Alfredo di Roma Restaurant located in the InterContinental Presidente Mexico City was attended by 92 members, friends and special guests.

It saw Bailli Délégué Thierry Blouet announce that Chancelier Alejandro Rodríguez would be leading the revival of the Chaîne in the country’s capital.

“Today, for the first time in the history of the Chaîne in Mexico, we are joining the two Mexico City Bailliages of Ciudad de México and Valle de México into one to form the largest Bailliage in the country” said Alejandro.

Bailli Délégué Thierry Blouet welcomed everyone. He mentioned Alejandro Rodriguez’s extensive career in the hospitality business, especially in multinational companies including being Director of several of them. Most importantly, for many years now he has had a great affection and passion for the Chaîne.

Alejandro Rodriguez enthused, “We selected the Alfredo di Roma Restaurant for the gastronomic prestige developed over many years and being recognised by Wine Spectator as having one of 12 most important cellars with 40,000 bottles from all the wine regions of the world”.

It is clear, with Alejandro guiding the revival, the future of the Chaîne in Mexico City is very bright.
