The Bailliage of Netherlands is very excited to announce that Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection (GRC Global River Cruises) , a renowned worldwide 5-star river cruise line with ships on three continents (principally countries in Western Europe but also Russia, Egypt, India, Vietnam/Cambodia, and China), has been awarded approval by the International Chaîne to use the logo of the Confrérie on all of their publications and menu cards. Furthermore they are also able to display the Chaîne Professionals Plaque as a seal of approval for the outstanding quality of food and service on each ship.

All their ships are very luxurious and beautiful, but the culinary excellence of the Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection is of course the principal link to the Chaîne. Natalie DiScala wrote on her ‘Style at Home’ blog: “All the style of a five-star restaurant - the food, reflective of the region you’re sailing through, is absolutely incredible.”

Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection's culinary programme continues to be recognized as the leader in river cruising experiences. They are the only river cruise line to be consistently lauded in travel and gourmet publications around the globe. Therefore it is with great pleasure that the Bailliage of the Netherlands welcomes them to the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.

Six of their Executive Chefs have already been registered as members and will represent the values of our association on the ships. The first to be inducted, as a Maître Rôtisseur, was Culinary Director Gerard van Helvoort during the Joint Grand Chapitre of Germany and the Netherlands held in May 2016 in Aachen and Maastricht.

Subsequently Gerrit de Kiewit, Member of the Conseil Magistral and Bailli Délégué of the Netherlands, had the great pleasure of presenting the first Chaîne Professionals Plaque to Maître Rôtisseur van Helvoort at a special ceremony aboard one of the ships.

The six ships so far proudly carrying the Chaîne Professionals Plaque are:

- SS Joie de Vivre
- River Beatrice
- River Royale
