Austria meets Canada - 'Servus in Wien' aboard the AMA Viola
The Bailli of Manitoba (Canada), Cameron Gray, sailed along the River Danube with members of his Bailliage on the AMA Viola, a ship belonging to AMA Waterways*.
In conjunction with Norbert Simon, Bailli Délégué of Austria, Cameron spontaneously organised a dinner on board, hosted by its owner, Rudi Schreiner. Rudi is a Maître Hôtelier member of the Bailliage of Austria as is AMA Waterways’ Primus-Adam Perchtold (he’s an Officier Maître Rôtisseur).
These were the ingredients of the high level of culinary art and the top-class service we experienced.
After the champagne reception accompanied by several amuse-bouches, we adjourned to the dining table to “break bread” together.
