Celebrating 'spring breeze'

The JW Marriott Hotel Seoul’s signature restaurant “JW’s Grill” hosted the Bailliage’s second dinner of the year.

With a violin and cello ensemble playing classical music in the background we chatted and relaxed enjoying an elegant Laurent-Perrier Brut Champagne and enticing appetizers. Then we were ushered to convivial long tables lovingly decorated with fresh, delicate, pastel-coloured spring flowers.

Under the leadership of Executive Chef Jong Chul Shin the culinary team had devised a creative menu with carefully-selected wines to showcase “Spring Breeze” echoing the seasonal mood outside. The exquisite wines, carefully handpicked by our hosts and the sommelier, were perfectly paired to the fine dishes, enhancing the pleasure of the event also the light, cheerful conversations. The sweet tooth thoroughly enjoyed the petits fours!

Textures, colours, artful display, in addition to the well-balanced, delicious flavours gave us another highly enjoyable Chaîne event. Furthermore, we were delighted to meet old friends and have the opportunity to greet new friends and upcoming members of the Bailliage.

The JW Marriott Hotel Seoul picked up the challenge with flying colours…we all look forward to the surprise at the next dinner.
