Culinary excellence at Restaurant Nicole

The Bailliage organized a dinner at the spectacular Nicole Restaurant which, because of demand, had to take place on two consecutive evenings! Located in the Beyoğlu district, i.e. the heart of the city, the restaurant has a magnificent view overlooking the Marmara Sea and the historic peninsula. The two evenings also marked the conclusion of our 2016/2017 season. 

Nicole is a highly regarded, trendy restaurant and rated one of the top 10 dining establishments in Istanbul. Its exquisite quality of food, wines and service are worthy of formal recognition (if only they had a Michelin Guide for Turkey!). On both evenings the owner and Executive Chef Aylin Yazicioğlu more than proved this.

At the reception a variety of canapés were served. Thereafter, the eight courses specially composed and prepared for us by Chef Aylin and her team were paired with prime Turkish wines.

At the end of the dinner the Bailli Délégué Mohamed Hammam thanked both the kitchen and service brigades led by Chef Aylin. He presented her with the Bailliage’s commemorative plaque in recognition and appreciation of her culinary excellence and the outstanding service.
