This memorable event was held at La Cadière Clubhouse at Mu Ma Mountain which is about 30 minutes by car from Chengdu city centre.

The Club offers a multi-dining experience. It has a wine club, a banquet hall and poolside dining. It is famous among the local community for its premier French and Cantonese cuisine with culinary entertainment.

Executive Chef Xiong Ze is a young chef who is fascinated by culinary art and accordingly is deeply passionate about it. Over the years he has worked in five-star hotels and a Michelin restaurant (La Citadelle in Metz, France, with Chef Christophe Dufossé) before joining La Cadière.

Besides our local members from Chengdu, members and friends from Chongqing, Tianjin, Guangzhou and Shanghai also joined our event. The dinner was limited to 22 seats which, unsurprisingly, were very quickly filled!

Not only the venue but also the charm of Chef Xiong Ze and his exceptional cuisine brought every guest an exclusive experience. During the dinner Chef Ze patiently introduced each dish. At the end of the evening everyone was full of praise for the outstanding quality.

In the coming months, under the leadership of Bailli Alfred Li, the Bailliage is planning to bring a diverse and exciting series of gastronomic events for the its members and friends to experience in Chengdu.
