Düsseldorf & Essen, October 12-14, 2017
Modern architecture meets old structures
" our Bailliage is proposing a wide range of sights, excursions and exclusive high-class restaurants "

Dear friends

On behalf of the National Bailliage and its Bailli Délégué, Klaus Tritschler, we in the Bailliage of Nordrhein look forward to warmly welcoming you to the 91st Grand Chapitre of Germany in Düsseldorf and Essen.

A promising programme has been put together to present these two cities in all their diversity,

You will have the opportunity to experience the dynamic, hospitable metropolis that is Düsseldorf. There you will find architectural highlights - including the largest Japanese cultural centre in Europe.

Equally you will be fascinated by the city of Essen. Its Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex, a preserved masterpiece of mining architecture, is considered the “most beautiful colliery in the world”. We would also like to show you Villa Hügel, the former residence of Alfred Krupp.

Catering for all tastes and interests, our Bailliage is proposing a wide range of sights, excursions and exclusive high-class restaurants.

Let your self be surprised and be our guest in this cosmopolitan part of the world where modern architecture meets old structures.
