OMGD Thailand Dinner
Bailliage Provincial of Eastern Seaboard
Pattaya, October 7, 2017
Featuring Pio Cesare wines from the Piedmont
" Officier Maître Restaurateur Guido Vietri created a magnificent menu raising expectations really high "

Heading towards the end of the year also means we approach some culinary highlights that usually take place at this time. One of these was our dinner at Gian’s Italian Dining - the first ever OMGD event held at this unique venue.

Owner and Officier Maître Restaurateur Guido Vietri created a magnificent menu raising expectations really high and as a result the dinner was fully booked.

Guests were greeted with Champagne Lombard and treated with 50g of very fine Osetra ‘Prestige’ caviar to be enjoyed the way it should be - with blinis and fizz.

Favourites of the evening were the wonderful Balik salmon and the superb selection of gourmet cheese.

Given that it was an OMGD event much attention was paid to the wines. All courses were accompanied by Italian favourites from the Piedmont region and especially from the Pio Cesare winery in Alba, famous for its Barbera, Barbaresco and Barolo. Needless to say with such quality, the wines matched the food perfectly.

A true dining experience provided by Guido Vietri and his staff to make this a night to remember.

Bravo Guido! Vive la Chaîne!
