The Bailliage was excited to announce this event to its members, especially given the “under the radar wines” picked for them to experience.

Themed “95+ with a shining star”, the “95+” related to the wines and the “shining star” was Michelin 1-star Chef Cristoforo Trapani from La Magnolia Restaurant at the Hotel Byron in Forte dei Marmi, Tuscany, who was visiting the Ritz-Carlton in Shenzhen.

Enhancing the experience for the members and their guests Chef Cristoforo presented a very special menu with five signature dishes from his home town Naples. The outstanding cuisine featured wonderful Mediterranean flavours. 
 
Coming back to the wines, we had selected nine different ones for tasting with the courses.  All had been rated 95 points or more from world-renowned wine critics. The selection was certainly eclectic. Surprise and hidden excitement greeted everyone - from France to Australia, Italy to Argentina, and then there was something from Chile too. 
 
This last OMGD event for the Bailliage in 2017 was a rare occasion to taste the hidden treasures with a shining star. Places were limited and the tickets soon sold out. The lucky participants were clearly wowed with the wines and food. So much so that everyone is eagerly looking forward to the New Year and the next amazing OMGD occasion in Shenzhen.
