Celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Bailliage of Kuwait was a magical experience.

The celebration was graced by Karim Henein, Member of the Conseil d’Administration, who had travelled from Egypt to represent President Atallah by being the Inducting Officer. Prior to inducting 23 new members and promoting eight, Karim gave a wonderfully uplifting speech about the Chaîne and its history.

It was our first Gala event at the new Four Seasons Hotel. The hotel's very stylish and elegant Ballroom was the perfect setting for this occasion. Thirteen Ambassadors honoured our ceremony. A great surprise was impromptu entertainment from an Argentinian soprano.

The queen tables made the dining experience just so royal. The delicious menu with live music and singing completed the amicable experience.

Invigorating our palates were the welcoming appetizers prepared live at the reception. Then we tasted a delectable cuisine starting with foie gras and honey citrus cake, moving on to Riso Acquerello, slow-cooked beef cheeks with celeriac potato puree, and concluding with a milk chocolate mousse accompanied by pecan crumble and citrus curd.

All in all it was a dazzling 35th anniversary celebration. Every aspect made it unique, the settings, the dining experience, the dignitary guests, the impeccable service, the amazing entertainment and the feeling of fraternity from all attendees.
