United Arab Emirates Dinner

Bailliage of United Arab Emirates
Dubai, February 28, 2018

An extensive and exquisite gastronomic journey

The Bailliage was fortunate to go back to “Nineteen” at The Address – Montgomerie Golf Club after a many years. It was certainly a remarkable dinner in a beautiful, fresh and chic new / old dining outlet in the Address Montgomery, enjoyed by all members and guests.

Exquisite Champagne Bollinger ‘Special Cuve’ NV accompanied truly amazing hot and cold canapés to start what would be an extensive, exquisite gastronomic journey skilfully accompanied by a very close to perfection service brigade sparkling with professionalism and friendliness.

Bailli Délégué Ian Fairservice welcomed everyone and announced the start of the night with a salute to the Rulers of Dubai and the UAE. Chef Fabio took us through the menu explaining how he had designed it. We were excited to start and had high expectations for the dinner.

Bastien Blanc, Vice-Conseiller Gastronomique Honoraire, concluded the evening with an appreciation thanking the service and kitchen brigades for the enormous effort put into producing our wonderful dinner with a special thanks to Chef Fabio and his team for producing such a lovely menu.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and for those who had not been there before it was a perfect opportunity for them to appreciate a perfectly orchestrated fine dining experience with an amazing view of Dubai skyline. It was a perfect example of the immense work & attention to details that went into every dish brought out to the table.

We do sincerely hope that we do not have to wait again for many, many years before we visit “Nineteen” again.

Special thanks are due to Chef de Cuisine Giuliano Berta, Executive Chef Fabio Hernan Pineda, Restaurant Manager Shamiran Yevnanidze and General Manager Timothy Stanhope who all made this amazing gastronomy possible.
