Ålesund is an intimate, compact city which means the festivities and destinations in the programme for our Grand Chapitre are located a short walk from each other.

Set in a region renowned for its nature and alpine landscape rising straight from the narrow fjords the location is breath-taking and unique. On January 23, 1904, Ålesund was dramatically destroyed by fire. In three years it was rebuilt to create Europe’s most complete Art Nouveau cityscape.

The Grand Chapitre will commence with the Get Together in the famous Alnes Lighthouse.
