'I the Egyptian (Ana El Masry) Foundation'

The international Chaîne’s charitable association (the Association Caritative de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs - ACCR) is a “Partner in development” for the “I the Egyptian” Foundation, a non-profit, non-governmental foundation established in Egypt in 2008.

“I the Egyptian” has the mission to address the suffering of 14 million plus Egyptians who live below the poverty line. To significantly reduce this risk the Foundation provides poor families with necessary services and in a wider sense through activities which provide essential care and services to street children and children at risk.

The primary objective of “I the Egyptian” is to enable these disadvantaged children to realize their potential and become integrated members of society. Community service centres provide a multitude of services to low income, marginalized communities which have a high risk of their children resorting to living on the streets.

“I the Egyptian” is supported by donations in kind, financial donations as well as many hours from enthusiastic volunteers. The Foundation’s logo represents an individual who is going towards a new path, someone who was able to change and improve his/her life.

The ACCR gives help and assistance through its project initiatives and charitable aid programmes worldwide. The “I the Egyptian” (Ana El Masry) Foundation was its first project, especially appropriate given that the ACCR’s work closely matches that of the Foundation in assisting the disadvantaged through an educational, social, cultural, humanitarian aid programme especially for children of all nationalities of race or religion.
