Photo Competition

It is essential that all photos are taken during a World Chaine Day event. The exact date this year is Saturday, April 23. However, as we have different time zones, it is acknowledged that the photo can be taken at an event during that weekend, i.e. between Friday evening April 22th and all day Sunday 24th.

Guideline and Rules

It is essential, that photos are taken during the 2023 World Chaîne Day (WCD) event weekend.

The photographer does not need to be a Chaîne member. However, we want to encourage members and amateur photographers by favouring them.

Photos will be selected from the social media feed material. The Panel of Judges will go through all images posted to Social Media Wall.

Postings made on Instagram and/or Twitter with the hashtags #chaineday, #worldchaineday  will appear on the wall.

Unfortunately Facebook is restricting connections with third party operators. Facebook postings will not appear to the Social Media Wall. You have to use Instagram or Twitter.

There’s no need to send or do anything additional to ensure participation in the competition. The Panel of Judges will go through all the photo material posted to the Social Media Wall during the WCD weekend.

If you are not a social media user, you can e-mail your photos to: [email protected]

2023 there will be only one category: Best Picture.

The Winner, Runner-up and Third Place will be awarded a stylish diploma including a high quality print of the winning photo.

This year – Come with your heart.

This ensures that the Jury will be able to select potentially winning photos from the social media feed. NB. If you are not using social media you can still participate by e-mailing your photos to: [email protected]

There’s no need to especially send a note regarding pictures for the competition. The Jury will go through all the material on the World Chaîne Day’s Social Media Wall.

This year :

Come with your heart

With Come with your heart we want to encourage Chaîne members worldwide to give a thought to unique work ACCR is doing. Let us highlight it during WCD weekend!

Times we are living - Come with your heart - there is no other actual wish.

So during the WCD weekend, let’s put our hearts together and celebrate with our fellow members around the world.
