The Bailliage participates in a charity evening
" It was a night "extraordinaire"! "

Bailliage members and their guests participated in a unique event at the Grand Hyatt.

Leading Hong Kong gastronomic and wine societies came together in the hotel’s ballroom to support the gala “Le Centenaire” charity dinner commemorating the centenary of the end of the First World War.

Proceeds from the evening were for the benefit of French uniformed services and the Hong Kong Ex-servicemen’s Association amongst others.

Under the direction of the Chaîne, Executive Chef Gerhard Passrugger and Executive Sous Chef Marco Mehr excelled in preparing, presenting and executing a true gourmet’s delight. Exceptional wines selected by each wine society’s experts perfectly matched the courses.

It was a night “extraordinaire”!

PS. The event happened to fall on my birthday. To my surprise, a special toast was made complete with magnums of champagne and birthday cake. I was flattered and touched by this thoughtfulness. Another wonderful memory!
