We had a particularly successful introduction to the "Classic in the Alps" weekend in the breath-taking scenery of the Kitzbühel mountains. Elina Garanča, mezzo-soprano, and friends presented for the sixth time a programme of classical music in the Steinway Salon of the Kitzbühel Country Club.
TopSpirit representative Thomas Breitwieser, who holds a Sommelier Diploma and is a wine expert graduate, described the high-end champagnes and wines. He took us on a tour through the evening through Champagne, California, Provence, Bordeaux, and Portugal.
The wines tasted were:

The very special dinner was presented by Reinhard Brandner, Executive Chef of the Kitzbühel Country Club, and his team.

According to a unanimous vote, the OMGD Champagne Tasting 2019 will take place on Friday of the "Classic in the Alps" weekend in the Kitzbühel Country Club.
