In its effort to support the development of local Bailliages in Turkey, the National Board held its last meeting of 2018 in Adana.

The meeting was followed by a joint one at which the National and Adana local Bailliage Boards discussed an action plan for the expansion of the Chaîne in this part of southern Turkey. On the occasion of the National Board’s visit, the local Bailliage organized an end-of-year Gala Dinner Sheraton Grand Adana. It was attended by 70 members and spouses.

The evening began with a reception where a selection of local wines was served with a variety of cold and warm canapés. A seven course “Tour of the World” themed menu, especially composed and prepared for this occasion, paired with a selection of superb local wines sponsored by Dolucia Wines, the second largest wine producer in Turkey.

At the end of the evening Dr Ilter Varinli, Bailli of Adana, and his Officers, together with eight National Board members present at the event, thanked both the kitchen and service brigades. They were presented with Bailliage of Turkey Appreciation Certificates in recognition for their outstanding performance during the event.

Bailli Délégué Mohamed Hammam then thanked the hotel’s General Manager, Senda Gomez, and presented her with the National Bailliage’s Commemorative Plaque in recognition for the warm welcome and culinary and service excellence.
