Our festive dinner is always a highlight each year as it starts the Christmas season. This year we were in the Fireplace Grill and Bar of the InterContinental Bangkok.

As is now customary the dinner was created by Conseiller Culinaire Alessandro Haab ably assisted by the Fireplace Grill and Bar’s excellent brigade.

Before dinner, we enjoyed a vivacious reception of Vouette et Sorbee ‘Fidèle’ Champagne as well as mulled wine, an oyster bar, roasted chestnuts, and canapes. This was followed by both traditional and innovative European delicacies at the table, with cheese and dessert in an adjacent room.

Festive dessert buffet

We also thanked our special guest Her Excellency Nabila Alshamsi, Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Hong Kong.

Superb food and wine, gracious service, the elegance of the Fireplace Grill & Bar at Christmas and the Chaîne’s camaraderie of the table were the perfect combination to fill everyone with an abundant seasonal festive Christmas spirit.
