A day in Ossiach … no desires left! Sunshine over the lake, an Induction Ceremony in the beautiful Knight's Hall of Ossiach Abbey. An outstanding dinner in the Stiftsschmiede (old forge) courtesy of Bailli Provincial Gerhard Satran.
In his capacity as a Member of the Conseil d’Administration, Bailli Délégué Norbert Simon began the Induction Ceremony with information on the history and the values of the Chaîne. Then he presented the insignia of Officier Commandeur to Pair de la Chaîne and former Bailli of Carinthie, Helmut Müller. Subsequently, Bailli Provincial Gerhard Satran was inducted together with numerous members of the Bailliages in Austria and of the Bailliage of Udine-Friuli in Italy. It was good to see many younger members joining.
After the ceremony there was a reception with champagne from our cooperation partner Vranken-Pommery. Buckwheat risotto with asparagus was served on the restaurant’s Lakeside Terrace, one of the most beautiful places of Lake Ossiach.
