Dining in a half-size replica of the Eiffel Tower

The Bailliage held a World Chaîne day event in the “La Chine” restaurant in the “Eiffel Tower” of the Parisian Hotel and Casino.

The Parisian Macao is a luxury hotel on Macau’s Cotai Strip. It has a half-scale 525-foot Eiffel Tower as one its landmarks!

Overall the property has approximately 3,000 hotel rooms, 170 shops and 5,200 m2 of meeting space. In addition it features a 1,200-seat theatre. The interior has a large fountain and atrium giving a feel of modern France.

Due to the limited space in the private room of the Tower only 40 members were able to join the event and to taste the dishes presented by Chef Chung Kuy Fai and his staff.

We enjoyed a great dinner in the very pretty restaurant on the 6th floor of the Tower with its lofty evening view of the Cotai Strip. The food and service were of the highest quality as were the matching wines sourced by our members.

The event was to have included a champagne reception on the deck of the Tower with access to the top level of 39 stories but due to a very heavy rainstorm and lightning the reception had to be moved indoors. However this did not dampen the mood and everyone had a good time until long past midnight.
