The Bailliage held its 2019 “Mid-Year Premium Dinner” at Le Corto in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event was a glamorous affair with beautiful people coming from all over Asia for a “four-hands” dinner featuring two culinary superstars. Maître Rôtisseur Nicola Ceccomoro and Maître Rôtisseur Sakal Phoeung, united the culinary arts of Italy and France.

This black-tie formal soirée had gentlemen donning their finest tuxedos and ladies in classy, scintillating, eye-catching, elaborate evening wear. It was an evening of beautiful people, premium ingredients, advanced food techniques and fine wines. Naturally living up to the Vietnamese concept of “Ăn ngon và Mặc đẹp” (lit. eat well and dress well) which is depicted by the social media hashtag used for Chaîne events in Vietnam, #anngonmacdep.

The event was set in motion with canapés served alongside Syn Champagne - from the Saudoy commune in the Marne département of France - complementing the titbits with its dryness whilst presenting aromas of citrus flowers and ripened wheat on the nose.

After dinner, guests gathered on Le Corto’s terrace for Syn’s Dominican Reserve cigars and Frapin Cigar Blend Cognac known for its sweet, vanilla, caramelized apples and passion fruit notes - a complete accompaniment to any cigar.
