Revival of the Bailliage Provincial at the Parkhotel
" We are already looking forward to further culinary delights at the Parkhotel Graz! "

Maître Hôtelier Peter Florian invited members and their guests to participate in a dinner at the Parkhotel Graz to revive the Bailliage Provincial of Styria.

The forerunner of today's Parkhotel was already mentioned at the end of the 16th century. The hotel owes its name to being situated in the proximity of three public parks.

It has had an illustrious guest list: heads of state from all over the world, Austrian presidents, Nobel laureates, film, television, music and opera stars. They all appreciated the hotel’s location and its excellent cuisine with international and regional specialties.

Bouvet Ladubay Crémant de Loire Rosé enhanced the summery aspect of the reception before members and their guests adjourned to the hotel’s Florian Restaurant for dinner.

Kurt Mörth, the restaurant’s chef, supported by Elisabeth Johan, winner of the Bailliage of Austria’s 2019 National Final of the Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs Competition held at Bad Gleichenberg, conjured up a delightful five courses which were very much enjoyed by everyone.

In his “santé du chef” speech, Vice-Conseiller Culinaire Walter Mayer expressed this sentiment magnificently! To great applause the kitchen and service brigades were warmly thanked.
