The Bailliage of Istanbul held its second event of the 2019-2020 season at Gina Italian Restaurant, the trendy signature restaurant of d.ream (Doğuş Restaurant Entertainment and Management) Group in Istanbul.

The “Simply Tuscan” themed dinner was attended by 85 members and spouses.

Beginning the evening was a cocktail reception at which a variety of warm Italian snacks were passed around. They were accompanied by Mionetto ‘La Pieve Pergolo’ Prosecco.

An exquisite six-course menu was composed for the occasion by d.ream Group Culinary Directors Fabio Brambilla and Murat Karaduman.

Gina’s Executive Chef Tuncer Akma and his team prepared the courses which were paired superbly with quality Italian wines carefully selected by Meltem Coşkun, d.ream Group’s Wine Programme Director.

At the end of the evening Bailli Délégué Mohamed Hammam together with the National Board members attending the dinner, invited the kitchen and service brigades to the dining area.

Mohamed thanked them for their outstanding efforts and presented them with Bailliage of Turkey Certificates of Recognition for their excellent performance and professionalism extended to our members during the dinner.

Mohamed continued his thanks to Gina’s Restaurant Manager, Özgür Tuncer, and d.ream Group’s Food and Beverage Operations Unit Manager, Orhan Çiftçi. He presented them with Bailliage of Turkey Commemorative Plaques in recognition and appreciation for their culinary excellence and outstanding service.

As a door gift everyone had a small box of chocolate truffles to enjoy at home.
