Italy Grand Chapitre 2020

Bailliage of Italy
Lucca & Tuscany, October 1-4, 2020

Experience the passion of the culture of knowledge
" Give us four days of your time and we will supply you with .. food and wine at the highest level! "

Dear members of the Chaîne, dear friends, for our 52nd Grand Chapitre we are looking forward to welcoming you to Lucca in Tuscany!

As a result of the current Government restrictions regarding events being held in Italy we have now rescheduled this Grand Chapitre from April 2-5 to October 1-4, 2020.

A revised programme including how to book will be available in due course. Meanwhile thank you for your understanding and apologies to all those who were hoping to come in April - we trust that coming at the beginning of October will be equally appealing!

A wonderful city with a more than a two thousand years’ old history, Lucca has been selected in view of it being rich in cultural and gastronomic traditions.

An extraordinary place, at the time of our Grand Chapitre it will be just a year over 500 years since the death of the universal genius that was Leonardo da Vinci.

Tuscany is known for its landscapes, history, artistic legacy and its influence on high culture. It is regarded as the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and has been home to many figures who influenced the history of art and science. Foremost among them is not only da Vinci but also the opera composer, Giacomo Puccini.

“Give us four days of your time and we will supply you with history, myths, territorial excellences, food and wine at the highest level! You will experience the passion of the culture of knowledge and flavours in an extraordinary fusion!”
